The Gujarati Writers' Guild UK was established in 1973 to promote Gujarati literature in the UK, especially Gujarati Ghazal (the most popular and enjoyable form of Gujarati poetry).

The Guild also organises Gujarati Mushairas (poetry readings) around Lancashire, UK.
